Sidra and Brothers

I just wanted to post some pictures of Sidra and her brothers. She thinks the world of them. This is all of them on the couch watching TV, even Sidra was caught watching the tube.

We all love our little princess Sidra.

Horses and a 4 wheeler Part 2

Josh got a chance to ride and seemed to enjoy it. I will try next time we go. There wasn't much time by the time we ate lunch and gabbed to ride horses.
This was our good-bye picture, we had so much fun.

Horses and a 4 wheeler Part 1

We were invited by The Greene family to ride horses and a 4 wheeler. You can probably just guess how awesome this was for three boys. Camden didn't want to get off, he actually got two rides before he had to get off.

Lincoln rode by himself and then he was a great big brother and went with Elisha which you will see in the next blog.
Lincoln got off and I was able to get a quick picture with him all by himself.
Before they went on the actual drive with Mr. Greene, they got a thrill just pretending.

Jenk's Family Reunion

We had a blast at our Pam and DeVaughn Jenks family reunion. The reunion was held at Father and Son's camp in Idaho from Monday July 20 to Friday July 24. I can't even describe how wonderful it was to be with family and to get dirty. This is a group of the youngest members in our camp. They went on a hike.
On Thursday we had a visit from Smokey the Bear. The boys were so excited. Smokey told us that only we can prevent forest fires.
The boys all got a turn to bat anda turn in out field. We played a game of Family Ball and we sure did have a "ball".
There was no way to keep the boys clean. It was actually a relief to just let them be dirty and was them up before bed at night.
My favorite part of the reunion was sharing as a family all the lessons of life we have learned in the last couple of years. We really grew stronger as a family and closer to our Heavenly Father. I know that we will need to be close as a family to keep from the things of the world and to try to be the best people that we can be. I love my family, they are the best!

Sidra survived the bath

With each baby I have to learn how to give a bath so that it is a pleasant experience. In these pictures you will see that by the time we were done with Sidra's first bath we were both exhausted and ready to sleep. As you can see Sidra is . . . GOING
GOING
GONE!
REAL GONE!

Sidra Lane Holladay - Our Girl!

She was 20 inches, 7lbs 7 ounces, born on April 29th 2009 at 9:56pm. Sarah was admitted at about 9:31pm. (I know, wow!). I said that she was a boy first because I saw the ambilical cord but then the nurses promptly corrected me and then, we knew that our daughter had arrived. Yes, I'm proudly wearing a pink tie today...and will be for a week or two. Sarah's doing great and feeling better. We're having a date at the hospital where we'll eat steak and shrimp compliments of the Madison Hospital. Life is good from where I'm standing.

More Elisha Birthday

Elisha's wanted a dinosaur birthday so we had a special visit from "Dino Man". I will not reveal his secrect identity as it could get me into trouble.
Elisha had more fun uwrapping the presents. He did enjoy all the gifts received though.
Here he is reading Blue's Clues. He even sang the song for us it was so cute.
This pop-up book was a hit too. We had a lot of fun and ended the evening watching "The Land Before Time".
